So you're ready to jump into the PR industry, but you're not sure where to start. For starters, you will need the skills & relevant work experiences to get your foot in the door. Please think of us as the elevator that gets you from the lobby to the door of your first Public Relations Job.

 

We take great pride in ensuring that the up-and-coming PR pros of tomorrow are nurtured. NO, this isn't your typical; grab me a coffee internship. For one, I don't drink coffee. For two, you deserve a real-world experience, so we designed this internship program to be a unique, meaningful, hands-on experience for you.

What You Will Gain:​

By working with L’Rose PR, you will expect to develop confidence and marketable skills by engaging in or assisting with many of the following activities:

  • Administrative Duties (scheduling, creating documents, preparing pitches & press releases, fact sheets, bio's, etc.)

  • Participating in strategy meetings & client calls

  • Research & Monitoring

  • Building & Updating media lists and databases

  • Generating reports

  • Supporting special events

  • Much More!

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic input and feedback on marketing initiatives

  • Suggest innovative ideas for engaging content

  • Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders

  • Write media announcements and press releases

  • Manage and update media lists and databases

  • assist in scheduling and coordinating different events

  • Conduct research and perform market analysis 

  • Complete administrative duties

 

PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN

So, you enjoy scrolling Instagram and creating content in exchange for likes. BUT you haven't quite realized this is a career, and this career path may be just right for you. Of course, we are here to help you figure it out.

 

Now, we know you know the basics of posting and liking photos. However, our focus is to make sure you learn to understand social media's power and how it can make businesses and brands more robust and build brand loyalty and customer satisfaction. This position will be a hands-on opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge of social media.  From analytical research to content creation, your responsibilities aren't one size fits all, and they include:

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of content across social media platforms and websites

  • Strategize, execute, and manage Facebook and Instagram accounts

  • Report on Key Metrics

  • Conduct, gather and analyze market research

  • Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content

  • Brainstorms campaign ideas

  • Monitor various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

  • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns

  • Assist in creating performance reports

DISCLAIMER: If you're looking for a fun, relaxed, event-filled internship that consists of selfies & boomerangs with celebrities & notable brands. " This ain’t that.” At L’Rose PR, we deal with REAL People with REAL Businesses. Therefore, YOU will be doing REAL work. Yes, some days are fun, but seriously, it's business first. This Internship is unpaid,  8-10 hrs/week, for 12 weeks with a chance to extend.
